The local Air Cadets, together with members of the Peacehaven Lodge, spent an entire day laying the foundations for a new facility Seaford Head School. This facility is aimed at providing therapeutic support for young children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), offering them a safe space to engage with animals and benefit from their calming presence. The hands-on project not only supports the children but also enriches the community by promoting inclusion and wellbeing.

The construction of this facility was made possible through a collaborative effort, with funding provided jointly by Parker Building Supplies and the members of the Peacehaven Lodge. Their generous contributions ensured that this valuable resource could be created to meet the needs of both the children and the animals in their care.

The Lodge is also planning to spend an additional day repairing and upgrading some of the existing facilities for the school.

This project is part of a broader commitment by Peacehaven Lodge members to give back to the local community. They have many more initiatives planned, all aimed at improving the lives of local residents and addressing important social needs.

By focusing on community-driven projects like this one, Peacehaven Lodge continues to make a lasting, positive impact on the area.
